Paul’s dad is the archetypal dreamer who disappears looking for his holy grail – an undiscovered cave described in legends.

After his father’s disappearance, things become difficult and Paul misses his father terribly. So, on the first day of the summer holidays he runs away with his best friend Max to continue his search.

The boys venture into the woods and follow the clues in Paul’s father’s notebook. All alone in the wilderness, the two experience an unexpected freedom and face great dangers and insurmountable obstacles.
